In the AIC project, the various partners, each with their own expertise and specialisation in insect production and processing, automation and data management, want to join forces to create a sustainable chain collaboration for the production and processing of Black soldier fly larvae as a high-quality protein-rich raw material for animal feed. In this collaboration, forces are joined from producer to buyer to achieve an economically profitable, sustainable and high-quality end product. By organising into a cluster where members will specialise in the various activities from production to processing and where profits and risk are shared proportionally among members, the production and processing of black soldier fly larvae can be made more efficient and feasible.
