How important is the choice of finishing boar for farm results? An IWT research project of KU Leuven and ILVO focuses on the breeding value estimation of finishing boars and tries to shed light on their economic importance. Thus, the finishing boar not only influences the performance of finishing pigs, but also the reproduction results.
